The tan!

Everyone knows that the hollywood look is that gorgeous glow, but we also know that to achieve that glow we either have to damage our skin, have a millon dollars$$, or turn the color of a pumpkin.yikes.... FALSE!
I recently stopped heading to the tanning bed after I read the statistics on how harmful it actually is on your skin.
<3 Did you know that just one trip to the tanning bed can heighten your chances of getting skin cancer by 75%?!
How scary is that! So I decided to do a little research and I came across this place called Air-Tan located right in the heart of Broad Ripple Village in Indianapolis, IN.

Now before you all ask these questions..
What exactly is an air tan..I had the same questions:
I called Air-Tan and ask so many questions, they surely answered them but also directed me to their page at www.air-tan.com this tells you everything you need to do before, during, and after. There is also a video on their site as well!
Air tan is done by an actual person..(yes you can wear a bra if you wish) but if you don't want the tan lines, it's not necessary and believe me I was very nervous about that but i felt very comfortable.

when I went I got sprayed by Katie<3, she was very cool and laid back. She did such a great job. My tan was so even and golden everyone kept asking me how my vacation was.

Air tan last anywhere from 7-14 days and cost $30 but there are specials being ran all the time. For instance, I got one for $30 and half off the second one.

Air tan will not turn you orange: Their solution has a special formula and DHA to balance out the self tanner with your skin!

Air tan is so precise and it's flawless, my hand and feet also looked great.

I would recommend this to anyone!

If you guys have any questions feel free to email me or contact Air-Tan themselves! What a great experience!

XoXo much love guys! And remember SUNSCREEN UP!

I am VERY new at blogging, and it just started for fun but is turning into something i love!
I am a licensed cosmetologist, But i am currently out of a salon because I am attending school to get my degree in business :). While I'm away from the salon I still do hair and LOVE doing it, it's my passion. I currently work at a Pharmacy and love my coworkers. I am from a very small town where you look to your left and right and all you see are cornfields. I don't care what anyone says, I LOVE makeup and everyone should. My favorite color is tiffany blue, I love MAC makeup. I am 22 years old and I'll be 23 this summer come august. I come from a very small family, and it's just my mom and i that live in the house. When I was 18 we lost my dad to a short battle with cancer, and I miss him every day! I have a lot of tattoos, and i feel that tattoos are not to be judge on that it's a form of art and expression, and that's exactly what mine are! I live to have fun, and love to live!

The EASIEST sock bun tutorial you'll ever see!

Hey everyone!
thanks for tuning in! Today we're going to talk about this famous sock bun that's going on right now! What is it? It's literally like  it sounds, it's a bun made from a sock! below i will go over step by step how to create this look with long and short hair! ready! Here we go!

First you will start out by getting an old tube sock. (the longer the bigger your bun!) Those with short hair don't want to make it too big or you will be able to see the sock. Make sure when selecting the color of the sock it's not too different from your hair. For example I chose black because my hair is very dark brown.

2nd step: Take the sock and cut the unopened end off.

3rd step: You will take the sock and place your forearm through it, and roll it up!

4th step: Roll the sock all the way up so it forms into a doughnut shape!

5th step: Place your hair in a normal pony tail. The higher the pony the higher your bun!

6th step: Place the doughnut shaped sock around your pony by pulling your pony through the center hole.

7th step: after doing this, your pony should be sticking out the center hold. spread your pony around the doughnut shaped sock!

And last step of all:
Secure it with a hair tie, touch up with some hair spray (i love kenra) and Voila! THE SOCK BUN!

How easy was that!? I hope to see you all walking with this sock bun! If you guys have any questions feel free to contact me and i will email you back as soon as i can! Love you all! tune in sunday for the big sexy wave tutorial!

Much love! XoXo
